I am currently a VDC Designer at TD Industries working in the Virtual Design and Construction department, joining after my summer internship. I work in BIM coordination using tools such as Revit and Navisworks to model plumbing systems in a 3D virtual building. In addition, I am also learning Autodesk Point Layout to assist the field survey team, who uses Trimble surveying technology.I graduated Southern Methodist University in 2022 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (focus in dynamics and controls) and a B.A. in Music (focus in vocal performance). During that time, I worked with my peers to run a local chapter of Theta Tau, a professional engineering fraternity. I developed basic knowledge of non-profit inner workings and worked to create a smooth experience for the members.Outside of work, I have begun to delve into my interest of architectural history. I love learning about the evolution and impact of architecture throughout the world. I am a member of the Society of Architectural Historians and of Preservation Dallas. I hope to learn more about the fields of building restoration and preservation so that I continue my lifelong learning.
