Working with non-profits, national laboratories, and environmental organizations, I've cultivated a life-long love of communicating about complex ideas in a way that inspires and motivates people toward better earth stewardship. I develop and lead change-making programs, collaborations, teams and communities, and offer decades of leadership in strategic communications, writing, and content expertise in the areas of resilient living, green building, and energy efficiency.I believe we can bring diverse people together for community learning and change. I’ve been doing this in the following ways:-Developing, funding, and directing collaborative programs that offer meaning, inspiration, and resilience in a changing world. At The New School at Commonweal, I've helped to develop a diverse and thriving arts and lecture program promoting conversation about nature, culture, and inner life--with podcasts and videos that have been listened to more than a million times by our community around the world. -Uplifting the messages and work of non-profits so that their communities grow and diversify, share financial support, and are inspired to be more resilient earth stewards. At Commonweal, I helped to establish and then grow communications efforts that currently uplift and draw donors to the work of almost 40 programs doing work in the areas of healing, resilience, and justice.-Amplifying change-making work through communication strategy and implementation, creating the vision and building out the strategy with fluency in writing, messaging, design, photography, and collateral development.
