• Implemented a single server SCCM environment to allow for automated MS security patching of the Kent School Districts 140 + virtual and hardware servers, this project also involved deploying MS Forefront Endpoint.

• SCCM administration of 18,000 + systems in the Kent School District. Responsible for application packaging and deployment, MS monthly patching, reporting and day to day activities.
• Designed a Windows 7 image for the KSD with all relevant applications and configurations embedded for summer 2011 migration from XP to Windows 7. The process included building all application packages, driver packages.
• Performed SCCM upgrade to R2 and R3. Worked with facilities to leverage computer power settings provided by the upgrade to R3 to reduce PC related power consumption at the district.
• Replaced 14 Ghost image builds with 2 SCCM hardware and location customized images.
• Due to network bandwidth constraints introduced the concept of “Mobile Distribution Points”. Built out DPs on high-end laptop hardware to allow re-imaging teams to access school networks locally increasing imaging time.
• Moved KSD from WSUS MS patching to SCCM controlled patching.
