Appointed ad personam as a member of the Advisory Group (AG) - formerly known as the Permanent Stakeholders Group (PSG) - in the field of Industry.

I joined the Derg Business Alliance in October 2017 and have been an active member of this group since, assisting with training, social media and the website.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR ) awareness coalition is a not-for-profit, fixed-term initiative with volunteer companies, designed to assist in raising awareness of the data privacy obligations for companies resulting from current legislation as well as the more onerous obligations which will result from the implementation of the GDPR. The GDPR is the most significant change in European data protection laws in 20 years. It sets more onerous obligations and responsibilities for EU and non EU organisations that collect and process personal information of individuals. The establishment of this initiative was motivated by the growing concern that in Ireland awareness is low across many industry sectors of both existing data protection laws, and more particularly the increased obligations which will be introduced by the GDPR. Coalition Partner companies include data protection experts, as well as IT vendors, legal, fiscal, event and general collaborators.

Oversaw the day-to-day IT Operations across 5 countries, with 8 IT staff supporting 750 end users.

Consolidated control of the IT infrastructure of a diverse group of offices following a merger. This included taking on management of 10 personnel across 20 sites with 500 end users across Europe, US and the Caribbean.

Project Managed the installations of VisionPlus Credit Card Processing System in Client Banks across EMEA, including any customisations and follow on support.

• Analysed and Developed enhancements for the GMDRIVE System (General Motors Distribution, Reporting and Inventory for Vehicles in Europe).

• Modernised a legacy Accounting, Claims and Underwriting system with Lansa 4GL technology.
