Expanded the role of Systems Engineer to include the design of solutions using Verint ́s products:Voice Recording, Quality Monitoring, Speech Analytics, Voice Biometrics and Text Analytics.This role requires knowledge on multidisciplinary subjects, to explain infrastructure requirements of Verint applications on Operating Systems security policies, SQL Databases and permissions, Firewallequirements, Cryptography options for traffic and data storage, and Telephony Integrations.My major tasks include interacting with multiple customer teams, to detail requirements, resolve conflicts with corporate security policies and drive customer deployment of the needed infrastructure.Some additional tasks also include support for Verint pre-sales team, to assist then in explaining technical details of solutions and alternatives

Mainly responsible for engineering and implementing Verint's suite of products for call center recording, quality monitoring and speech analytics, integrating with switches from Avaya/Nortel and Genesys. This role includes design of the solution, implementation, support and driving local partners during the implementation phase.- Implemented a SIP Recording solution for >9000 call center positions for Vivo (Telefonica Brazil), including Speech Analytics (transcription of voice recordings for indexing, trending and data analysis).- Implemented similar projects around CALA (with major carriers and cll centers: Movistar Chile, Peru and Argentina, Claro, Digicel Haiti, Atento and major Enterprises: HSBC Mexico and Brazil, Itaú Bank, Johnson&Johnson, Nestlé)

Worked to build and operationalize support services for Nortel MSS technology in Brazil, providing these services for all major brazilian carriers.Responsible for all technical actions, interface with Nortel and local providers for support and repair services, proposals and sales support.

Further expanded the role on the Nortel-Microsoft Alliance, becoming responsible for design and implementation of ICA solutions on the Latin America region This role also includes design and Integration of Enterprise data solutions and other Nortel Voip systems (MCS 5100 and SCS500).Skills obtained: further expanded SIP expertise, Spanish speaking.

Main role was integration of carrier telecom solutions, under CALA region (Caribbean and Latin America) Relevant projects are:- Implemented infrastructure for Telefonica's Voip solutions with Multimedia services (voice/video/IM/collaboration), based on SIP;- Implemented several Voip/Unified Communications systems throughout CALA (VTR-Chile, Movistar-Peru, TSTT - Trinidad&Tobago, C&W Barbados, GVT-Brazil).- Integration Leader for the Embratel Livre project (fixed lines based on CDMA technology) during the first phase (São Paulo metropolitan area).- Implemented Data networking for EVDO Services at Vivo;- Integrator for the Innovative Communications Alliance, a strategic alliance Nortel-Microsoft for developing Unified Communications/Converged Services.Skills obtained: Telephony Solutions, SIP, International experience, Project Management

Continued working as independent consultor for Nortel Networks- Completed the re-design of Telefonica Multiservice Network- Upgraded and expanded this network to nationwide coverage

Main role is to design and implement carrier multiservice networks. Relevant projects:- Implemented Dial-up Internet Acess network for Intelig;- Upgrade of HSBC Brazil multisservice network (Data and Voice);- Re-design of Telefonica's Frame-Relay SPPAC network into a Multiservice Network (implemented ATM, and later, MPLS services), over Nortel Multiservice Switches (formely known as Passport).Skills obtained: Frame-Relay, ATM, IP Routing, Voice routing.

Main role was homologation of complete telecom/network solutions for integration into Bradesco network. Also includes developing solutions and architectural planning for network. Relevant projects are:- Implementation of VSAT network for 800 branch integration. Direct responsable for X.25/SNA/BSC3 protocol homologation, including consulting on protocol development to the vendor, GE Spacenet;- Developed the network standards and infrastrucuture for technology transition from Mainframe-based to Windows-based applications (IP Addressing. DNS naming schema, network security policies);- Responsible for implementation of network infrastructure for Bradesco’s Internet Banking,including interoperability tests with Mainframe..- Other projects include design of corporate IP backbone using Cisco routers, developed together with Scopus a VPN infrastructure for telecommuters and vendor support, evaluation of network audit and IDS tools.- Consultation on network issues during the elaboration of corporate security policy.Skills obtained: X.25, TCP/IP, Windows Networking, VSAT networks, Internet Technologies.

Main role is hardware maintenance of banking automation:- Worked with Z80 based terminals, including assembly language development for testbeds;- Matricial and impact printers;- Discrete-CPU Minicomputers and Hard-disks;- ATMs;- Early PC computers (8086/286/286 CPUs, DOS/OS2/Windows OS's)- V.22/V23/V32 modems.
