Key responsibilities included: creating media lists that demonstrate a solid understanding of the media and the client's issue and how it is to be positioned in the media; compiling media clips for clients and regularly identifying opportunities for clients to strengthen their position; actively participating in internal client brainstorming sessions and contributing ideas to projects; taking notes at planning meetings; working with project lead to convert notes into an outline for a communications plan; coordinating mailings and assembling meeting or training packets; creating PowerPoint presentations; copy editing and drafting materials and internal memos that adhere to AP and Spitfire Style guides.

frank is a conference that’s mission is to curate emerging voices in change-maker communities and infuse research-backed findings in a unique blend of actionable insights. As Event Coordinator, my key responsibilities included: Managing the planning and execution of events throughout the three-day conference; executed run-of-show for a multi-location, four-hour citywide scavenger hunt for 300 participants; recruiting and planning production for professional “TED” style talks throughout conference; creating content and collaborating with Washington Post journalist to write clues and design city-wide scavenger hunt; managing a team of 30 volunteers to execute key deliverables on a time-sensitive schedule.
