Social Media InternEnvironmental Task Force Aug 2021 - PresentSpelman CollegeAs a Social Media Team Member for the Environmental Task Force at Spelman College, I have been working to combat conservation issues and promote eco-mindedness both inside and outside of the classroom. Through coordinating and managing the Instagram page, I have engaged 496 followers and school students with interactive posts to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation. This passion for environmental activism was recently highlighted in an article about World Wildlife Day, where I discussed the power of youth activism and social media in spreading awareness about climate change and poaching.
