Under the supervision of Fernanda Leme (Catering Supervisor), I was responsible for meeting with clients, running and assisting with the operational side of events as required. We operated across the main UWA Crawley campus, as well as the occasional off-campus job. This position required a high level of problem solving and time management, as events were run simultaneously around campus.

From February to May 2018, I worked with Perth Rescue Angels to develop, design and execute their 2018 Fundraiser, Drag Queen Extraordinaire. This position included aspects of sponsorship and partner management, budgeting, event planning and execution, and problem solving. This internship was successful as we were able to raise $10,700 at the event, all of which was funnelled back into the work Perth Rescue Angels provides for abandoned animals in Perth.

Through my uni-sourced internship with Event & Conference Co, I have been assisting Rebecca and Anna with the behind the scenes organisation of events and conferences, as well as assisting on the practical running of events on the days. Through this, I have gratefully harnessed and improved my graphic design (specifically, Canva) skills, sponsorship sourcing, customer relations, public relations skills (in reference to press releases and social media plans), as well as gaining experience in working with a diverse range of people.
