looking at my experience working with the R&D department at the company I found that I learned so much just working and having arguments with the engineers and while actually working with them on the projects that were at hand I broadened my mind in fields I would have never imagined working in such as working with electronic control devices that were used in the air conveyor project, I also increased my knowledge in the field simulations and optimization studies using the topology optimization of Fusion 360 as well as working with CFD software such as Ansys, while my knowledge in CAD software was shallow I learned how to use workspaces that required deep knowledge in the software of Fusion 360 with the help of the mechanical engineer who was my advisor in the R&D department, working with a 3d scanner was an experience I would have never imagined myself doing and then I used the generated CAD design to modify and optimize the scanned part, I also saw the effects inertia on some of the heavy machines and worked with the engineers to mitigate this issue by reducing the weight of the moving parts of the machinery first using the 3d scanner so scan such parts as it was more convenient than having to model these parts from scratch then optimizing the distribution of material in these parts depending on the load that the part will carry using topology optimizations and using the CNC machines to machine these parts has introduced some practical and technical knowledge to be had.
