Louise is an experienced Non-Executive Director, Chair of Remuneration Committees and Chief People Officer. She is a key advisor to CEO’s, Boards and executive teams on change and transformation, vision, talent, organisation design and effectiveness. She operates in complex environments with the pace, creative thinking and agility of an entrepreneur. She is experienced at reading situations with high awareness and insight into how people operate, and uses this to improve commercial, people and organisational performance. Louise founded her own business and ran it successfully for over 10 years before selling it. She has a strong reputation for pragmatic, but insightful and constructive support on highly challenging and often sensitive projects. Louise has predominantly focused on the private sector, with strong experience in travel, leisure, hospitality, media, retail and consumer.Louise has held senior executive roles, for example as Head of Change at British Airways, as part of a turnaround team as Group HRD at Mothercare, was a Senior Partner and Head of the Consumer Practice for Advisory services in a global firm, and most recently, was Group People Director at Selfridges Group working across the international retail portfolio, with over £3bn turnover and 20,000 colleague. Louise is SVP of People & Talent at the Tony Blair Institute, serves as a Non-Executive Director at M&C Saatchi Plc and FRP Advisory Plc and is Chair of the Remuneration Committee on both Boards.
