Lawrence leads an HR Product & People Analytics team, focused on Job Architecture and Organizational Design at Google. Since 2019, he has contributed toward various projects to build components of Google's foundational HR infrastructure, enabling talent & performance management, compensation processes, internal mobility, and learning & development programs. His team has most recently built a role navigator for Google's employees, built after completing job analyses to map the work of the company, redesigning Google's Workday configuration, adjusting HR data pipelines across the company, and co-designed the product with Google's internal product & engineering teams.Lawrence was previously a People Strategy consultant at Mercer, an international consulting firm. He focused on various areas of people strategy consulting including talent strategy, rewards/compensation and organizational design consulting. He supported a variety of projects relating to career framework development, job evaluation and leveling, total rewards philosophy and talent strategy development. Lawrence contributed to project teams of public, private, and non-profit clients in advanced analysis and project management.Lawrence holds a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in economics with a minor in general business from Yeshiva University’s Yeshiva College. He graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Departmental Award for Academic Excellence in Economics and dean’s list in 2009-2012.
