My role included a mixture of language revision and project management duties. This included an introduction to translation management software, glossaries, translation memories and Adobe InDesign software . Expected to maintain communication with clients and suppliers whilst meeting strict deadlines.

Moscow, Russian Federation

-As an ESL teacher I was expected to plan exciting lessons accordingly, present regular open lessons for parents and teachers, as well as providing student reports each term. I taught in as many as three places in one day around Moscow which required excellent preparation and time management. -I am very proud of what I achieved whilst working at the company. I gained a lot of confidence from exhibiting my teaching abilities and persona in front Russian parents and students along with using my initiative and spoken Russian to communicate around the varying schools.-This unique experience enhanced my mental resilience and strengthened my skills to connect easily with Russian people and culture.

Paris, France

-After finishing my A-Levels I decided to work for a year in Paris which involved caring for a 4-year-old girl whilst teaching her English. I was trusted to take her for day trips swimming, to the theme park, shopping and to prepare her meals. -Looking after a young and reliant child meant using my initiative, thinking about the safety of another person and building a bond with her. Speaking French was essential to ensure the child’s safety and do diverse activities
