About Lama Ossamah

An entrepreneur, a public speaker and a media presenter. I am currently a media producer & TV presenter of the Canadian Arabic weekly TV show “Lama” that airs on Omni & Omni.2 Television channels in Canada. I started Lama TV as an online media platform initiative to create bridges and share knowledge between Arabs in North America and the Middle East, in hopes of facilitating dialogue on issues that matter to people from different backgrounds.Lama TV has given a voice to Canadian Arabs who have been left out of the Canadian discussion. Through Lama TV, I have produced two short videos for the West Asia and North Africa forum, chaired by HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan about Canadian Arabs and their views on how they integrated in the Canadian society while maintaining their Arabic identity and heritage. I have also interviewed HRH Princess Dina Mired, Director General of the Hussein Cancer foundation in Canada who spoke about Cancer care in Jordan and the Middle East. In addition, I also received great media attention where I appeared in many Arabic & Canadian media sources such as: CBC TV, AlArabiya TV, MBC TV, Jordan TV, Roya TV, Radio Canada International, Dolce Magazine, Vancouver Observer newspaper, Addustour & Alrai newspapers & many others.
