Responsible for managing the financial operations of Plexus to include in-depth involvement in developing proposal pricing, DCAA interaction and coordination, budgeting at the corporate and group levels, financial reporting and analysis, cost reduction initiatives, cash management, and growth and profit forecasting.

* Oversee four accounting professionals, and responsible for the overall accounting and reporting functions of the organization to include; financial analysis, financial reporting, direct budgeting/forecasting and cost controls, and services as the primary interface for bank, DCAA, DCMA, and various auditors* Develop, maintain, and train employees on accounting policies, procedures, and tools while continuosly evaluating and improving effectiveness and efficiencies of department products and systems* Responsible for closing monthly data, implementing backup data directories and contingency plans for data recovery, preparing bank convenant reports, preparing and analyzing bank reconciliations, and filing monthly and annual state and federal tax returns* Serve as independent accounting leader for wholly-owned subsidiary to include; payroll, accounts payables and receivables, journal entries, policy development, monthly and annual reporting and close-outs, and advisor to leadership

* Supervised two accounting professionals while managing day-to-day accounting functions; to include accounts receivables and payables, budgeting, purchasing, collection functions, and established accounting practices* Managed and reviewed the preparation of reports, statistical details, and financial results* Assisted Controller as needed and served as Acting Controller for an extended period of time
