As a program manager I am responsible for the management of several multi-year and multi-stakeholder research programs on the development of robotics for national security applications.

As a project leader I am responsible for several (multi-stakeholder) projects with a focus on image processing, image enhancement, image analysis, visual pattern recognition and artificial intelligence.

As a trainee at TNO I rotated over three departments in two years time. My first assignment was a consultant at the Microbiology and Systems biology department. For my second assignment I combined the consultant and business development role at the (medical) Optics department and for my third rotation I was working as a project leader in the sustainable logistics field.

Part of the Inuka team, develop a strategy for big data analysis and machine learning

As a graduate intern I did research about a technique called Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy. This technique can detect strokes based on impedance measurements. Besides technical developments I was involved in clinical tests both on patients and healthy volunteers.

Within the health and data analytics team I did research regarding the use of big data in healthcare.

The subject of my research was Impedance Spectroscopy for the rapid detection and monitoring of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke.

The Student Union is the overarching student organisation for more than 130 student associations within the University of Twente. It makes policy on several aspects regarding student life. The portfolios I was responsible for were academic development, education and ICT.
