During my summer internship with Epsilon I rotated between Client Services, Operations, and Strategy and Insights. Having such a broad view of the company was a great experience and gave me some fantastic insights into the industry. I worked on a number of projects with high profile clients such as Procter and Gamble, Google, and Go Ahead Group. The main project I worked on was a competitor analysis for P&G which I presented in person and over Webex. Throughout the three months I was able to develop my skills and knowledge of the industry, as well as confidence in presenting, which will be invaluable to me going forward both at University and my future career.

My primary role was the management of all the returned goods coming through the distribution centre. This involved communicating with L'Oreal Regional Business Managers on a daily basis as well as keeping on top of all the paperwork involved in the process.I also worked on a number of continuous improvement projects for which I conducted number of meetings and training sessions, as well as developing some key skills. These include writing and editing MS Excel macros, creative thinking to develop new processes within the company which have been implemented successfully, and familiarising and becoming confident with the use of SAP.
