Fabric development and ecvision system management

1. In charge of RIM RD project(Blackberry phone case and handbook pouch),work with designer for new product and new tech(HF hot-melt) and new material development, verify the feasibility with engineer team and NPI team. 2. challenge designs from the basis of cost, manufacturing feasibility(MP Tooling and Jig) and quality 3. Review engineering drawings, drive the project through all phases(kick off,concept review,sample,production planing,ramp up,ramp down) to successful manufacturing of products 4. Reduction of project time,tracking of project progress vs. timeline,generate a recovery plan if the project timeline is behind expectations 5. Drive cost-reduction activities 6. Work closely with cross-functional teams in multiple locations and coordinate with marketing, manufacturing and quality teams to shape product spec, cost, manufacturability, reliability and ensure the project is done on schedule and budget 7. Direct and follow up with manufacturing partners in establishing, executing, and monitoring strategic and tactical aspects of product compliance and schedules 8. Statistical process control, Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, Measurement System Analysis, Process Capability Studies, Corrective & Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis and Risk Analysis

1. To coordinate with US office designer and sale and vendors for new product issuance and orders, clarification and amendment of WAL-MART& TARGET(Basic,Sonia Kashuk,Bath and Body,TNT,Soap and Glory etc) and K-MART cosmetic bag/cosmetic box orders 2. To perform initial evaluation on factories and maintain evaluation reports 3. To perform initial cost estimation for new products and annual spring/fall trendbook 4. To negotiate with vendors on the price of product/material ,creat the order in SAP for vender 5. To follow up and monitor orders 6. Other assignments as instructed by supervisors
