Lana’s primary area of practice is real estate transactions. She represents individuals and businesses in connection with purchase and sale and leasing transactions in both the residential and commercial context. Lana’s clients appreciate her willingness to think creatively when issues arise that threaten the success of a transaction. Lana advises homeowners associations in matters related to corporate governance and property management issues. After the mortgage meltdown in 2008, Lana’s practice naturally expanded to counseling homeowners threatened by foreclosure proceedings, advising them of their options and walking them through the mediation, short sale or foreclosure process. Lana’s greatest reward for representing clients is being honored with their trust. She never takes a client’s trust for granted and is determined to earn it every day. Lana recently expanded her practice to a new area. Having a heart for immigrants seeking to gain legal status to live and work in the United States, Lana advises aliens regarding their immigrant and non-immigrant visa options. She’s proud of her early successes serving the firm’s existing clients’ immigration needs and taking on new challenging matters.
