I began working for Kleinfelder on the RTD Eagle P3 Project where I gained experience in environmental compliance as the Environmental Inspector for the East Corridor. I also worked on inspection and removal of contaminated soils for the Gold Line. Additionally, I have worked in Texas, Wyoming, and North Dakota performing groundwater sampling, I served as the Environmental Manager for a pipeline construction project in Virginia, and I have been an Environmental Health and Safety Site Supervisor for underground storage tank removals internationally. Upon returning to Denver, I worked as a Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and Field Manager for asbestos in soils work on multiple contaminated and Superfund sites in the Denver area. I have also worked on permitting and permit compliance for various oil & gas and transportation projects in addition to remediation system sampling & compliance, groundwater sampling and stormwater inspections for clients in Wyoming, North Dakota, and Colorado.In my last year at Kleinfelder, I worked as a Project Manager for the construction materials testing group in Golden, Colorado where I manage an array of projects addressing soil, concrete, and asphalt testing needs.

University Of Georgia Marine Institute Laboratory At Sapelo Island, Ga

I served as a research assistant in the study of chlorophyll densities and retrieval in turbid coastal and inland waters, focusing on phytoplankton reflectance. This research also focused on the salt marsh community and production. Field work entailed collecting data and samples throughout the tributary waters of Sapelo Island and St. Mary's River. Laboratory work required the processing of water samples, mass spectrometry, and correlating the data with remote sensing imagery. Through this position, I gained experience in technical writing and presentation to varying audiences. I enjoyed working as a part of a small research team with individual responsibilities and worked to collect data more efficiently and help make quick decisions in the field.

Rocky Mountain National Park

I worked as a trail crew member alongside the National Park Service where I worked on the construction and maintenance of trails, revegetation of plants, and erosion control in alpine, subalpine, and montane zones. I identified safety hazards and reduced risk on site. In this position, I was given the opportunity to supervise a rock path construction project which further developed my leadership skills.

Westminster, Colorado

I successfully completed a three month internship with the emergency department in which I attended to patients needs, safety, and comfort as well as cared for their families. I cleaned rooms, stocked supplies, checked inventory, managed paperwork, and contributed to the organization of the department.
