I am a recent graduate of Temple University’s Risk Management and Insurance program, where I studied in-depth the integral functions of insurance. The culmination of incredible professors, peers, and curriculum I enjoyed during my time at Temple both inspired and motivated me to join the insurance industry on the carrier side in underwriting upon graduation. As of December 2023, I excelled in and completed Liberty Mutual’s robust commercial underwriting training program, Underwriting Foundations, during which I passionately pursued a comprehensive literacy of the underwriting process and guidelines. Synchronously, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to expand my understanding through supporting the Mid-Atlantic Majors Casualty underwriting team in Plymouth Meeting. Some of my responsibilities included spearheading a preference-building project as well as shadowing and aiding the senior underwriters with tasks such as modeling and triaging. Presently, I am commencing my career as a Large Commercial Casualty Underwriter in Liberty’s Mid-Atlantic Majors Casualty department.
