I have always enjoyed caring for the elderly. Working with them has been a part of my life since high school, where I volunteered at a Skilled Nursing Facility. In college I had several enjoyable (and challenging) years as a Certified Nursing Assistant while completing my Accounting degree. After earning both the CPA and CMA designations I started my career as a Long Term Care professional.I have more than 25 years of accounting experience, with over 16 devoted to the Long Term Care Industry. I founded A/R SNF Solutions in 2004 because I just couldn’t find the A/R and billing help my employers were asking for. I was shocked at the lack of companies capable of addressing the tremendous need of SNFs for receivables management, billing assistance and collections expertise tailored to meet the unique requirements of skilled nursing. I have enjoyed (really!) mastering the daily workings of the business office and all payer types. I have done just about everything connected with SNF billing and been successful. This includes the creation and implementation of systems to more than meet clients’ needs.
