In this leadership role, I oversee and track line items, ensuring fiscal responsibility for annual and capital improvement budgets based on the director of grounds’ annual and the Accounting Department’s monthly projections.Capital Improvement Projects: • 2022 short game/driving range renovation: installed PVC irrigation, collaborated with Medalist Golf to reshape based on design by Bobby Cupp and Billy Fuller, added 2 greenside bunkers with artificial turf facing, and installed 6,500 square feet of Bentgrass green to USGA specifications • Multiple tee additions, including the anticipated rebuild of tee box #1 impacted by Phase 4 clubhouse renovation: reshaping by Medalist Golf and in-house rebuild and installation of new irrigation with 1,000 feet of HDPE mainline • 2022 installation of HDPE and PVC pipe across course and within short game and driving range areas • 2022-2023 dredge project: removal of 40,000 yards (25,000 completed) of material to deepen lake by 5-7 feet • 2022-2023 Phase 4 clubhouse renovation: in preparation for use of 1st tee as construction yard, rerouted 8-inch mainline with 500 feet of HDPE irrigation to reduce damage in anticipation of tee rebuild upon project completion Show less
