Index entries link to the historical documents in the University of Michigan Digital Library.I began development of the original public search engine and administrative interface in 2001 as a web CGI using Python. The application has been in use with minor updates and bug fixes for about 17 years. In 2020, I started a complete rewrite of the application. The new application, KarpeLiber (https://github.com/regents-umich-edu/KarpeLiber), uses Django, is deployed using Docker in an OpenShift service hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Show less
