Develop policies and procedures related to maintenance and safety, both of the fleet and facility. Assist with RFP written specifications and participation in bid reviews for both equipment and fleet requirements. Responsible for the security of the facility including vehicles, buildings, fuel and all other company owned equipment. Provide research, recommendations and information for grant applications and reporting requirements. Gillig Phantom, Grumman flexible, TMC/RTS), N.A.B.I. Articulated. Knowledgeable in and have the ability to diagnose electrical, A/C, pneumatics, hydraulic, and onboard computerized analyzing systems. Extensive maintenance on Detroit Diesel 6V92, and series 50 power plants, as well as knowledgeable on Allison V700 series, Allison world B400/B500 and ZF transmissions. Perform various running repairs for operators and pre-service coaches. Train other technicians in the techniques and services performed on continually updated systems on new and altered coaches.
