My background has been principally in government administration and I have worked in a wide variety of areas including:- consumer protection, industrial relations, liquor & gaming regulation, state taxation & workers compensation insurance. I have had extensive experience compliance & investigation work, liaison with other agencies, policy development, project management, staff supervision, community education and workplace training. I have also had experience in child protection and human resource management. In addition, to following a career in the New South Wales Public Service I had a parallel career in the Australian Army Reserve during which I served 23 years as a commissioned officer. I held a number of leadership, planning, project management and senior training roles. A significant part of my service was in part regular units and as a part time member of regular units.More recently I have undertaken management roles in the non-government welfare sector. & I have been a tutor at an RTO.
