I have enjoyed working at the Lincoln County YMCA over the past several years, leading summer camp and just recently, sports. My experience with youth has given me the desire to create positive youth development in Lincoln County. It is important that every child has the opportunity to build character spiritually, physically, and mentally. Through its mission, the YMCA makes it possible for every child to accomplish what they are set out to do; I look forward to making that mission come true.I am a recent graduate from Appalachian State University where I majored in Recreation Management and minored in Business. My education, as well as my work ethics has increased my knowledge to lead. It is my passion for the youth to succeed at high levels in life. Both of my experiences, education and work, has increased my ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, schedule staff and activities, and manage time to fulfill the mission completely.
