Auto Data Direct (ADD) is a Florida-based company formed in 1999 with the primary mission of providing web-based, real-time access to the Florida DHSMV motor vehicle database for towing and titling companies. Since that time, the company has expanded its services to provide business tools for automobile dealers issuing temporary tags, metal plate transfers and electronic registration; certified mail letters for towing companies issuing Notice of Claim of Lien letters; and various letter tools for other industries used in conjunction with Florida and Texas vehicle records. Today ADD contracts with states across the country to provide real-time motor vehicle information to Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA)-qualified customers.
