Direct interface between regional suppliers and Boeing related to Quality Systems and components for Boeing Commercial Aircraft.

- Leader of four inspection groups (11 total employees) within the areas of Final Machining Inspection (AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports), Assembly Inspection, Final Operations Inspection and Quality Engineering.- Direct throughput targets/standards for each inspection group, identifying and maintaining acceptable levels of product flow during daily activities through cross training and flex opportunities.- Administered QIP (Quality Improvement Plan) with multiple customers, reducing SNN (supplier nonconformance notification) submittals and customer initiated notifications by 50% over a 2 year period for the 737 and 787 programs.- Produce training modules for incoming inspection personnel, as well as Standard Work Instructions for daily activities for each group.- Focal for AS9100 and various on site customer audits relating to both processes and product requirements.- Principle contact for customer communication with respect to identifying and improving key areas of quality concerns.

- Customer liaison regarding nonconforming product and the implementation of Corrective Action procedures relating to various facility policies including manufacturing and assembly operations.- Perform final approval of manufacturing planning as established by Engineering drawings, models and specifications prior to the release of the first article work order to the shop floor. Integrated an FPY strategy for continual improvement of current trends that have historically slowed planning release. - Implemented rework tracking procedure to obtain COQ as it relates to internal, supplier and customer returned product rework operations. - Gather, analyze, report and act on various COQ trends such as rework, customer returns, scrap rates, and improvement projects.
