Lance is a native of Colorado graduating with honors in English and History from the University of Colorado and the University of Colorado school of law . After spending 4 years in the El Paso Co district attorneys office , Lance has been in private practice representing injured plaintiffs in truck/ auto collisions , ski accidents , professional negligence , bicycle accidents and all forms of commercial torts and commercial litigation . As the youngest President in the history of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Lance spearheaded the first comprehensive rewriting of the Colorado Wrongful Death Act in 75 years .Lance has taught trial skills extensively throughout the country and has lectured to over 40 state trial lawyer associations .He is a former President of the Faculty of Federal Advocates for the United States District of Colorado and is currently on the board of governors of the International Society of Barristers . He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbard and holds the highest AVVO rating available (10.0 ) He has been named a Super Lawyer in Colorado since it's inception within the state .
