Purchase a diversified range of supplies, services, and equipment for City departments. Prepare purchasing documents including Invitation to Bids (ITB), Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Emergency Purchases (EMER), inter-office memorandums, formal letters, to vendors and departments, create and respond to e-mails, and create and distribute formal agreements and purchase orders. Prepare items for surplus auction for various departments and attend bi-weekly live auctions for the Police Auto Pound. Prepared show cause letters, rejection letters, cure notices, and termination letters. Communicated effectively with contractors, colleagues, and clients and resolved administrative issues including late delivers, nonpayment of invoices, lost and /or damaged merchandise, and coordinated corrective action between the contractor and department.
