Serve as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for JSTARS Integrated Maintenance Information System (JIMIS).Manage the development, review, and evaluation of System Security Plans, System Security Authorization Agreements, network and system diagrams, risk assessments and more for JIMIS.Support other ISSMs and ISSOs to ensure compliance and renewal of JIMIS Authority to Operate (ATO).Ensure that all system deliverables comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policy, specifically DoDI 8500.01, Cybersecurity, and AFI 33-200, Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management.Ensure that cybersecurity policy is implemented correctly on systems, maintain compliance with DoD and Air Force Certification and Accreditation policies, specifically Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology, and AFI 33-210, The Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Air Force Information Technology.

Maintain day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of information systems, including security event log review and analysis, to ensure all aspects of systems monitoring required to protect program information, including risk assessments, mitigations, and recommendations.· Support compliance with AF policies for hardware/software/sanitization/information systems approvals and work closely with approving authorities to ensure packages submitted are complete.· Support the development, review, endorsement, and maintenance of all IA related security documentation for all applications (e.g., System Security Plans (SSP)), networks, and stand-alone systems, including Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process required for compliance with NIST SP 800-53, AFI 17-101, and other applicable RMF policies.· Review system access control requests and grant/deny access to systems accordingly. To include reviewing, validating, and updating security groups and security group users.· Evaluate the security design's technical implementation to ascertain that security software, hardware, and firmware features affecting confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and non-repudiation have been implemented as documented in the NIST 800-37, DoDI 8500.01, and/or CNSSI 1253.· Perform site audits to verify architecture analysis, security requirements, and controls, verify mitigation actions, witness IA testing and evaluation, and support approval for IATT, IATO, and/or ATO.· Document and report IA site audit findings and recommendations, included submission and tracking of Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms).· Support vulnerability testing/validation/submission to AF of software used on the contract to ensure software standards are met.

• Review firewall, antivirus, and Office 365 logs and respond to alerts related to any security issues such as malicious emails, virus alerts, or suspicious activity on the City network.• Perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and, maintain software and hardware used within the City’s departments.• Manage HP and Cisco routers, switches, access points, and other networking devices to maintain the City’s LAN and WAN connections.• Monitor end-user compliance for the City’s policy on network use.• Led the initiative to create a cybersecurity education program using materials from KnowBe4 such as educational videos, phishing email identification training, and printed flyers.• Manages users and groups in Active Directory.
