-Operation Unified Response- Haiti (Jan 2010-Apr 2010) Served as a Marine Reconnaissance Team Leader with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit supporting the joint earthquake relief, where I collected and analyzed political and geospatial information that contributed to the broad intelligence spectrum concerning the relief effort and the prioritization of available resources. -Operation Enduring Freedom- Helmand Province, Afghanistan (Apr 2009- Dec 2009) Served as a Recon Scout Sniper Team Leader and led a 7-man team through 20 successful, multiple-day ground missions that included information collection and intelligence analysis, counter IED ambushes, long range recon and surveillance, convoy operations, narcotics clearing raids, and indirect fire and tactical air control missions. My intelligence debrief regarding patterns of insurgency activity in Bar Now-Zad, Helmand Province, reached the Brigade Commander of Marine Forces in Afghanistan, Brigadier General Lawrence Nicholson, and was subsequently disseminated to the entire 2nd Marine Division command structure in theater at the time.-Operation Iraqi Freedom- Fallujah, Iraq (Oct 2007-May 2008) Served as a Recon Point man tasked with the collection and articulation of insurgency patterns of activity and capabilities for intelligence production and analysis in addition to my infantry based responsibilities.
