Data has taken over almost every aspect of our culture, and it has equally taken over my interests and passions. For the past few years, the field of data science has been a mainstay in my hobbies, schooling, and employment. I hope to continue this trend as it mixes my passion with opportunity. My interest in the field fuels independent learning and motivation; my time outside of the classroom is evidence of these traits. I also spend much of time playing sports, possibly too much. The application of data analytics in sports continues to inspire me and my future research. I plan to continue contributing to that trend as well as others, as my passion for data science grows.
