Currently I am CEO/Co-Founder of New Phoenix Rising, a company in the Wellness sector with a focus on the convergence of Science and Spirituality. This project brings together social change, awakening spiritual community and conscious business. I am also co-founder of Meredith Project, a nonprofit devoted to the emotional wellbeing of teens and young adults. We are restoring a 93' traditional wooden (sailing ship) brigantine, Varua, made famous by her original builder/owner, William Robinson. This project teaches emotional literacy and other life skills in the context of traditional maritime arts. My past non-profit activities include co-founding Whale and Dolphin Watch, (facebook page) an organization initially formed to preventing the U.S. Navy (and others) from carrying out massive harm to our world's oceans, especially cetaceans. Our victory with the California Coastal Commission was a milestone on a much greater journey to protect our planet and was the impetus for NRDC's successful lawsuit against the US Navy. Beyond Radiation (Facebook page) is an educational project (which I co-founded) devoted to raising awareness of the folly of nuclear energy and weapons. Many other nonprofit organizations exist (some for decades) which my wife and I either started or supported in some significant way. These cover a gamut of focus areas but hold the common thread of improving life on Earth for the humans as well as all life.I have a strong focus on my personal healing work which includes exploring the multi-dimensional nature of life. My marriage is a source of ever deepening joy and growth, and I manage to connect with friends and family in an on-going way.Specialties: Authenticity, Vision, Passion, Empowerment and Magic!
