Gorgon Pipelines, Cables and Tubes Project - Gorgon Upstream Facilities Team (Chevron). • Construction of six 12km LNG pipelines and common services (electric cable, fibre optic, hydraulic tubing) for Chevron Australia on a Class 'A' Nature Reserve.• Gained experience in gas pipeline activities (welding, coating systems) as well as civil earthworks, drilling, crane lifts, bridging, surveying, electrical and fibre cable and hydraulic installation and testing, Cathodic protection, hydro-pressure testing and environmental controls.Responsibilities:• Support Project Manager and provide technical supervision.• Maintain good working relationship with client, and liaise with design engineers.• Develop efficient construction work methodologies and facilitate risk assessments.• Query design parameters and provide feasible solutions.• Ensure quality management plan is followed and construction processes satisfy design specifications.• Deliver daily, weekly and monthly technical reports of production progress and liaise with planner to meet project milestones.• Prepare variations and contractual correspondence.• Obtain quotations, place purchase orders and manage materials.• Coordinate and schedule sub-contracts: Including mobilisation and de-mobilisation, personnel, contracts, HSE, testing, equipment, materials and deliverables, and invoicing.• Coordinate site surveyor activities and review and report as-built data.
