Through this role I lead professional services teams across all business lines, including project-based, support and managed services. I am responsible for developing and implementing consulting and solution development strategies which are aligned to the company’s goals and to deliver high-quality results to our clients. I work continuously with team members to identify and implement process improvements, which improve both internal effectiveness and customer outcomes. I work directly with fellow members of the Executive Management team to plan and review sales forecasts, project related staffing levels and financials related to business operations. I also work with and manage several service strategic partner relationships that enable our team to scale as needed, ensuring high team member utilization. I act as a Sr. Consultant and SAP domain resource on key pre-sales activities and client engagements to further facilitate the success of a sale or implementation project, particularly in complex use cases where multiple technologies may be part of a solution.I am responsible for contract management including MSA’s, SOWs, NDA’s and other similar agreements. As the company has grown, I established and collaborated with internal HR team members to ensure employees have the resources and necessary feedback channels available in order to be successful.

Leveraging my knowledge of SAP master data and surrounding functional areas, I designed and implemented web-based, process automation solutions for clients using low-code/no-code software platforms like AgilePoint and Precisely (Winshuttle) to help clients integrate business processes seamlessly with SAP and other business systems. I helped clients define and design various aspects of their master data strategy that aligned with their business and risk management requirements in a manner that could be streamlined and improved through process automation. I was the primary pre-sales architect when engaging with clients that utilized SAP, as I was able to understand the challenges they faced, having been in many of those situations myself, enabling the client to feel confident partnering with our team. I have been a speaker at several conferences focused on SAP data management and process automation. In this role, I also recruited, trained and led new consultants joining the team and took on additional management responsibilities as the company grew.

As a Project Engineer in the Engineering Data Management group, I was responsible for process design and improvements around SAP material master creation, plant and sales org extensions, and overall maintenance of the same. I also led mass data conversions from legacy systems to SAP for PLM and SCM related data objects in SAP ECC. I acted as the project lead for implementing the Winshuttle software suite which enables business users to be more effective with repeatable and high volume data entry and maintenance tasks and continued as the lead designer for Winshuttle Transaction, Query and Central.

As the SAP Data Lead in the corporate Manufacturing Strategy group, I was responsible for all SAP data management and migration for the startup of three new manufacturing facilities - two in Mexico and one in Poland. This role included creating custom data conversion specifications to migrate the required PLM and SCM data from the existing systems - both legacy and SAP - to the new sites on SAP. Challenges included validation and testing of the data conversion programs as well as completing end-to-end process testing. Other challenges included successfully communicating and working with people in other countries that I would never meet, who had various levels of English speaking skills. This role required quickly learning the structures of multiple legacy systems I had never previously worked with and the nuances of how each business unit operated in order to successfully complete the data migration. Through this role, I was able to learn about the many business processes that leverage the data I was responsible for migrating and how the data was used and maintained, including areas such as order to cash, idea to offer, and purchase to pay.

During this role as a Manufacturing Engineer my main focus was on improving machine cycle times and end-to-end cycle time in the electronic assembly area of the circuit board manufacturing process. Approaches included increasing the effectiveness of the machines by better line balancing as well as overall assembly cycle time from the first machine in the assembly process to the final testing of the circuit boards prior to final assembly. For overall cycle time reduction I focused on changing how production orders were scheduled as a way to reduce the amount WIP in front of each machine but still ensuring machines were not without work during normal operation conditions. In order to test the changes, I used Arena simulation software to run through multiple scenarios before implementing changes to the production floor.In this role I also supported activities the SAP go live of the manufacturing plants I was supporting. Activities included data transformation, cleansing, business process design, testing, and change management activities to support both back office and shop floor personnel.

An an engineer in the Operation Leadership Development Program I completed four 6-8 month rotations in Manufacturing Engineering, Shift Supervision, Material Planning, and Industrialization Engineering across multiple manufacturing locations. These roles exposed me to many of the challenges faced in manufacturing operations and gave me an opportunity to complete meaningful projects during each rotation as part of that learning process.
