As director of student life, I am responsible for promoting collaboration and unity on campus. I maintain consistent communication between various student organizations on campus and encourage collaboration among them. Along with this, I communicate with the Office of Student Life to support them in organizing campus events and gathering information about various organizations. Gathering feedback from the campus community is also vital as I then communicate those suggestions to administration.

The athletics and wellness committee works closely with organizations to facilitate events to help the wellness of students on campus. In addition, we work with SAB and hold events to increase attendance and participation in university athletics.

I am responsible for supporting the CIS 200 course at the University of Michigan-Dearborn covering C++. As an SI leader, I attend class lectures for the course to gather an understanding of what the students are currently learning. Based on the information covered in class, I then design sessions and host help sessions outside of the lecture. These sessions are designed to be a free-flowing discussion in which students can build open the material discussed in the lecture.

As a staff member in the athletics department, I have various responsibilities both for the preparation and execution of sporting events. For preparations, I am responsible for making sure our facilities are clean and ready to support our expected audience. During events, I often am responsible for keeping official in-game statistics, controlling the scoreboard, selling tickets, and maintaining the concession stand. I have also been made responsible for organizing an intramural flag football league, which includes finding player availability, location scheduling, and paying officials.

As a part of this research, we investigated how we can create an interactive experience regarding wheelchair accessibility that is accessible to those with special needs. As a research assistant, it was my responsibility to design and program an application that followed our initial investigation. The application itself is a tool that is intended to be used to teach the user about wheelchair accessibility in public spaces. There are two "game modes", one with pre-built office spaces that have accessible concerns and another consisting of empty offices in which the user can design and test for accessibility. With this being said, we ensured that a variety of accommodation settings were included, such as closed captions, voice-overs, brightness, sensitivity, etc. All of this project was done within Unity Game Engine with the collaboration of Dr. Maxim and Rehab Jadallah.

As a member of the Grounds Crew, it was my job to prepare the driving range and resort grounds for guests. This included cleaning the driving range of tees and golf balls, aerating the greens, and various other landscaping tasks such a mowing and mulching.
