I coordinate admissions and scholarships, lead program recruiting and marketing efforts on campus, manage course enrollment, and advise prospective and current students.UTLA is an internship-first study away program that provides students with the opportunity to live, work, and learn in Los Angeles. Students are immersed in LA through exclusive programming, including mixers, visits to industry locations, field trips to local sites, and opportunities to connect with local alumni.

PROGRAMS- Manage book clubs for 800-1,000 incoming students, introduce Longhorns to world-class faculty before classes begin- Coordinate with 58 faculty members leading book club sessions- Collaborate with programs across campus to promote and attract participants- Oversee budget and strategize effective use of fundsCOMMUNICATIONS- Strategize communications for nine undergraduate programs- Manage marketing projects from start to finish- Develop messaging and serve as program knowledge expert- Serve as primary contact for 20 unique program websites averaging 4,000 page views per day ADMINISTRATIVE- Directly supervise two graduate assistants

EVENTS- Plan 32 events per year, average 20-450+ attendees per event- Coordinate large-scale, university-wide events, including Gone to UGS, Family Weekend, and Explore UT- Lead transition to online events in spring and fall 2020, research programs and best practices- Design new events and programs to strengthen the school’s community and help students build skills,network, and explore resources- Host school-wide meetings for staff in 12 departments and serve as liaison for strategic event planning- Manage budget and strategize effective use of funding PROGRAMS- Thoughtfully evaluate existing programs for effectiveness and reach- Oversee 25 student leaders serving as ambassadors to the school and mentors to students- Advise two student groups by facilitating on-going training, retreats, and assessment meetings- Consult with student leaders on event planning, budgeting, and organizational and leadership strategies- Coordinate selection and processing of student grants COMMUNICATIONS- Strategize communications timelines for UGS events, campus resources, and programs- Serve as primary contact for 20 unique program websites averaging 4,000 page views per day- Organize existing departmental webpages, create pages and navigation structures for two new programs ADMINISTRATIVE- Directly supervise events graduate assistant and four front desk student associates

Completed website edits for 20 different UGS programs, assisted with a year-long site-wide redesign, wrote blog posts for students, managed databases, updated handouts using InDesign

Taught two discussion sections, held weekly office hours for 40 students, graded papers and discussion posts, communicated between students and instructors, 100% positive student reviews

Helped the festival director plan in the 3 months leading up to the event, directed volunteer teams, answered patron questions, assisted with post-event communications and organization
