Manage the design and implementation of program development, organizational change, and strategic planning projects for public and nonprofit organizations.• Project Managed the development and coordination of San Francisco’s first Women’s Economic Empowerment Summit held at Moscone Center, including securing speakers, managing fundraising efforts, designing content, and managing the City’s advisory committee to ensure all voice were represented.• Lead strategy implementation effort for Caltrans Planning and Modal Programs and developed a change management plan for over one thousand civil servants to support organizational and business process improvements.• Reengineered how Medi-Cal case management revenue is billed, processed, and claimed in the City and County of San Francisco. This effort led to positive audit findings and increased revenue that in turn advanced case management and programming to more clients.• Managed seven elected and appointed officials to reengineer business systems across San Francisco’s State and Local public safety agencies to reflect implementation of California State Assembly Bill 109, Criminal Justice Realignment. This effort led to timely systems and workflow updates, establishment of a performance management system

• Co-developed and led a community engagement model using a Community First platform for COVID-19 emergency response, building relationships to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners. Recruited and built a team that included a Chief Equity Officer, Strategist, and place-based Engagement Specialists.• Managed staffing and resources for a small and agile team, organizing efforts in alignment with the Incident Command Structure, neighborhood-specific community-informed strategies, while practicing high levels of independence, resourcefulness, flexibility, and detail orientation.• Provided supervision and professional development support to disaster service workers serving different communities.

• Policy investigation & development: Built and managed teams, engaged experts, local-, state- and federal- officials, and community members to identify and address drivers of community health trends; conducted analysis and executed communication campaigns to develop support and buy-in for proposed policy solutions; successfully implemented policy and legislation related to the built environment, behavioral health, public safety, and harm-reduction.• Represent Mayor with key stakeholders in civil society, international institutions, and academia: Sponsored and staffed city and regional working groups related to Mayor’s policy agenda; led public/private partnerships to address community health challenges; worked with Labor Unions, Businesses, State and Federal Agencies to align local policies with legislation; partnered with diplomats and federal agencies to respond to transnational community health trends and crises; collaborated with national networks to leverage innovation and lessons learned for community resiliency. • Craft programs to support policy: Designed sheltering solution for homeless individuals with behavioral health diagnoses and partnered to build a wellness center for those living with HIV, to name a few.

Managed multiple teams that performed research and analysis, provided recommendations and implementation assistance, and developed concise reports relaying complex information to broad audiences; scoped and developed project plans and oversaw operating and contract budgets for 10-15 projects at any given time, including oversight of 1-20 staff and contractors with budgets that ranged from $150K to multi-millions.

Coordinated evaluation of a public health communications campaign intended to address the environmental health impacts of water pollution on children in resource-poor communities living in California’s Delta region. Produced original research that was published in scientific journals and shared at local and international epidemiology conferences.

Partnered with Salvadoran NGO to conduct research, analysis, and make recommendations related to international adoption resulting from family separation during civil war and armed conflict. This five-month engagement supported restorative justice using advancements in DNA technology.
