To revamp compensation model of the electronic components trading firm with operations in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai in order to align staff salary with company profitability. Recruited and monitored key staff in Account & Finance, Admin & HR, logistics and branch operations in China.

Major responsibilities included business negotiations and vetting of contracts, new product development and supplier management, quality control of all Group publication and marketing materials, being an active member of the Stock Exchange Listing Project Team liaising with legal and financial advisors and handling listing enquiries. Transferred from the Hong Kong Headquarters to Singapore for setting up the new subsidiary of the Group, a high-tech manufacturer of flexible substrates supplying the semi-conductor sector worldwide. Responsibilities included setting up company, recruiting all levels of local and expatriate staff, developing HR strategies and policies, adopting parent company’s administration procedures to local market (including payroll and benefits), sourcing and purchasing for indirect materials and equipment, and negotiation and liaising with various government departments plus statutory boards especially on training grants and funding.

Handled Japanese desk in the Marketing/Customer Service Department and assisted equipment and materials procurement from Japan.
