Park Lane Shoes supplies footwear and accessories to high street stores in the UK, Europe and USA, with their factories based in China, India and Spain.- Creative Design – As the only designer, I understood a customers’ need from a simple idea and working through various concepts to develop sketches, artistic impressions, mock ups and detailed line drawings by hand as well as in Adobe Creative Suite. - Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with Chinese and Indian factories through creative problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting approaches to footwear and accessories from design through to manufacturing and production- Ability to work independently as a designer and as part of a team with merchandising, buying and finance departments- Understanding and working knowledge of footwear including pattern-making, last manipulation, manufacturing, production and design

At Ghetz Limited, I designed and developed men’s comfortable footwear for Anatomic and Co. The shoes were designed in London and handcrafted in Brazil. I was the only designer and product developer for the London division. I travelled to Brazil to visit factories and develop new design concepts, leathers, soles and lasts for upcoming collections. In addition, I was a key contributor in marketing, trade shows, catalogues and photography.www.anatomicshoes.com and www.ghetz.com- Visited Brazilian factories, tanneries and sole manufactures to work shop new developments, improve quality control and streamline procedures- Ownership of Anatomic and Co Autumn Winter 2012 and Spring Summer 2013 collections from trend forecasting and analysis, trend/mood/story boards, design developments, key styling, writing and maintaining specification sheets, range building, copy writing internal press releases and being heavily involved in marketing with magazines such as GQ, Attire, Drapers, Vogue (Brasil), Out on a Limb and MWB- Liaised with the product developers and designers in Brazil to agree on a buying plan, negotiate prices, ensure specification sheets and samples meet quality control standards and technical design requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to- Demonstrated experience in footwear fit construction by critiquing samples, suggesting improvements and constantly enhancing the manufacturability of the footwear

- Worked closely with the buyer and creative team throughout the full buying process and the continued development of all builds including new stores and modifying current stores- Negotiated with key suppliers to ensure that the diverse visual merchandise mix succeeded in a very competitive arena

- Worked through the entire product life-cycle production process i.e. pattern cutting, sewing, skiving, prototyping, quality control, lasting and finishing

- Customer relations via email and telephone dealing with online registration, orders, returns and faulty products- Liaised with Finance for any account enquires and customer security checks

- Planned the merchandise for five categories from the product choice, ensuring the products meet H&S standards, sales and stock position, tracking the orders for timely delivered stock, maintain and amend product, supplier and price data, managing marketing and promotional material- Liaised with Chinese and Hong Kong suppliers for samples, POs, customs documentation, delivery dates and stock

-Liaised with members of the public as well as interested companies and determining their place within the APCA community- Managed diary, time management and travel arrangements for senior executives- Managed meetings as well as coordinating events and functions including presentations for internal and external executive meetings- Liaised with clients to develop and maintain a solid relationship- Ownership of legal documents i.e. Regulations and Procedures and other publications for intranet publishing- Maintaining my position as the first point of contact for self regulation and support the work-flow prioritization
