As a motivated Commercial Lines Underwriter Intern, I am passionate about delving into the intricate world of insurance and risk assessment. Currently pursuing hands-on experience at Philadelphia Insurance Companies, I am eager to contribute to the team's success through diligent analysis, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning. I have been a member of the PSU Student Fee Committee since January 2021 and the Chair of SFC since May 2022. My involvement through this position has allowed me to strengthen my communication skills, analytical leadership style, problem solving abilities, and passion for the business and budgeting aspect of the SFC work. During the 22-23 fiscal year, I chaired the group through allocating over 17 million dollars collected through the student incidental fee to 32 Fee Funded areas at PSU. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in roll-over/overage, budget presentations, appeals, and mid year program changes and also learned a great deal while communicating with the FFAs I liaised.

I worked in economic and taskforce development, facilitating business development focus groups to nurture and grow Metro Enhancement Grant participants. I exhibited excellent listening skills, and accurate data entry of detailed information for more than 100 focus group contributors, while conducting research and collection of data on surrounding cities to create representative graphs highlighting demographics, populations, and other statistics. I also gained experience writing pieces on local businesses and events that were upcoming for the city.

Used problem-solving skills to address client needs and supply them with information about the representation Meyer Stephenson provides. During this time I was designated the minute taker for weekly staff meetings and had the opportunity to sharpen my office skills including Microsoft office, typing, copying, filing, phone calls, email management, and scheduling. While greeting customers I maintained a positive and proactive attitude and took pride in enjoying my work.
