As a financial advisor, I appreciate that financial planning works best when it's customized, tailored and implemented. I help my clients identify their personal, professional and financial goals and, together, we develop a plan to actually achieve them. We focus on reaching goals and solving problems.As an active duty spouse, I understand military life and the challenges and opportunities it includes. We know for all the training servicemembers get, typically financial readiness is not part of that. I want to change that, and we are motivated by the mission to help others. I know that when you're in the military, you're busy with duty, career, family and other high-priority concerns. Your service has earned you benefits, but you may not know exactly what those benefits are or how to best leverage them.I am well-aware of the unique financial and emotional challenges that military service members and their families face, and I understand military pay and benefits, the transitory life of service members, and military milestones (enlisting/commissioning, PCSing, buying a home, planning for a family, transitioning, retiring, planning for a second career, and accessing post-military benefits with the VA).I work with a team that includes a veteran wealth management advisor, a former SEAL, a USN aviator, and two active duty spouses. We work with a wide range of clients, but specialize in working with active duty, retired, veteran and military-connected individuals, families & businesses. I use my gifts of serial optimism and high energy to find creative solutions to challenges. After 20 years working in the field of philanthropy with a focus on MIL/VET causes, I bring my servant leadership to bear as an advisor.
