Under the supervision of the Chief of Urban Sector Group (USG), manages a multi-donor fund, the Cities Development Initiative for Asia Trust Fund (CDIA), including a multidisciplinary team of eight professionals who work with cities to create bankable projects for downstream funding. Implements two TAs one of which pilots adopting nature-based solutions in Indonesia and Fiji. Provides advisory services to urban development projects in operational departments including the design of loans and technical assistance, ensuring the implementation of ADB’s Urban Operational Plan. Facilitates knowledge sharing and innovation through cross-departmental and external collaboration to inform livability in cities of the region. Spearheads nature-based solutions and digital technologies to promote livability and climate resilience.

Reporting to the Director of Urban Policy + Analysis, I manage a unit comprising five planning professionals responsible for implementation of the Growth Coordination Strategy, growth analysis and data collection, Municipal Development Plan stewardship, corporate performance measurement and reporting, development and effective communication of new business intelligence tools, and providing strategic project support for Branch, Department and City initiatives. I provide critical liaison services and technical expertise to City of Edmonton clients requiring analysis and reporting support for specialized project and research needs related to the city’s growth and change.

Under the supervision of the Regional Environmental Officer, performed a variety of duties to support policy planning, implementation, and co-ordination related to regional environmental and water activities including those related to the Middle East Peace Process. Backstopped Middle East Regional Cooperation (MERC) grant program (USAID: US $ 5 million) twelve active collaborative projects in governance, education, agriculture and environment between Israelis, Egyptians, Palestinians and Jordanians.
