I lead the Climate group at SecondMuse, an impact and innovation company that works with communities to build resilient economies at the intersection of climate, equity, and tech. I have nearly 20 years of experience in strategy, program management, and operations, working for mission-driven organizations that are solving some of our most existential challenges. Before joining SecondMuse, I served as the Managing Director of Urban Ocean Lab, a non-profit policy think tank developing ocean-climate solutions for the future of coastal cities. I spent a decade developing climate, sustainability, and resiliency policy and programs for the City of New York. I was Chief Strategy Officer for Climate and Sustainability in the New York City Mayor’s Office. During my time at City Hall, I led citywide climate action planning — such as the development of New York City’s Green New Deal, OneNYC 2050 — and also managed New York City’s global partnerships to scale climate action efforts worldwide. Prior to the NYC Mayor’s Office, I was Vice President and head of Smart & Sustainable Cities at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. In this role, I led a multidisciplinary team to grow the green economy in New York City by working with local entrepreneurs and global business leaders to develop technologies and sustainable business strategies to mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis.I have an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Boston University.I feel truly fulfilled when I can be of service to others and when I support progressive organizations that are working to develop innovative solutions that benefit people and protect the planet. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and collaborate with like-minded individuals who share my vision and values.
