Chandrini Yoga is the name of my personal brand, founded in early 2017. From May 2017 to January 2019, it was also the name of the yoga studio I owned in Oujda, Morocco. I've been practicing yoga since late 2009, and I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training course with Arhanta Yoga in May 2011. I have also completed their Online Yin Yoga TTC in 2018.I practice and teach Classical Hatha yoga based on my school's Sivananda inspired sequence, Yin Yoga, and my own take of Vinyasa, with a strong Hatha flavor and relatively long holds. I place special importance on the breath, alignment, and helping my students understand each pose and its purpose.I am fascinated with yoga philosophy and I'm always seeking to enhance my knowledge and deepen my understanding of it. Additionally, I also like to switch up my personal practice by including Ashtanga yoga (Primary series) sessions. The Gengo platform, acquired by Lionbridge in early 2019, enables anyone to connect to people-powered tasks, with a focus on translation and AI training data. Via the Gengo website or API, individuals and businesses work with Gengo’s community of over 20,000 pre-tested contributors, who have skills in over 34 languages.As Gengo's Community Manager, I strive to nurture and grow a vibrant community of engaged, dedicated, and hard working translators. This includes drafting and sending out regular communications such as monthly newsletters and other ad-hoc comms, moderating and driving our social media efforts, as well as Gengo's own forums, and listening to translator feedback to liaise with relevant teams in the quest for kaizen, or ongoing improvement. As Experience Lead, I overview the translator experience and lifecycle as a whole, from the onboarding process, to their interactions with our platform, at every step of the way, coordinating with our Product teams to share translator feedback and feature requests, as well as with our Support team for the purposes of creating support articles relevant to the translator experience.
