I undertook the following consultancies for AFL:Project Manager June 06 - Sept 07 (Andaman Is.)Coordinated a team of scientists and consultants working with Indian Government agency to develop disease free domesticated P.monodon.• Developed breeding lines.• On design team for shrimp breeding unit.• Applied HACCP techniques to reduce project risk.• Implemented MBO for counterpart team.• Developed production databases.• Developed test protocols for water quality.Other consultancies were: • Set up of breeding program in Peru (1 year).• Set up a microbiological laboratory for shrimp hatchery in Philippines (1 month).• Identifying environmental parameters contributing to Shrimp disease outbreaks, Bangladesh (ADB) 4months.• Team Leader for project to assess Shrimp health management & Shrimp diseases in Indonesia (ADB) 6 months.

As Hatchery department manager for Saudi Arabia's largest fully integrated aquaculture enterprise (t/o of USD 120m). As production manager was responsible for P.vannamei fry production, product marketing and sales, and implementation of stock improvement program.Accomplishments:• Collaborated with German organic food certifying agency to develop criteria for organic certification of Shrimp hatcheries and to obtain organic certification for Costapac.• Coordinated Shrimp breeding program with Canadian genetics consultant.• Developed database run applications to: predict client demand and target sales calls; manage production parameters; generate standard outputs for genetic improvement program.• Co designed web-page to show product availability.

Aquagenetics S.A., (Peru & Delaware USA) a venture capital start up developing improved P.vannamei Shrimp stock using genetic markers. As Manager Shrimp Breeding and vested partner, I was responsible for managing start-up stock and developing production plans and budget models.Accomplishments:• Developed collaborative links between US partners and Peruvian and Ecuadorian Shrimp farms for stock development;• Developed skills in virtual team working with globally based scientific advisors and business partners.
