Anaconda, Montana

Worked remotely and on-site as Quality Assurance Engineer for all construction activities on the Rico-Argentine Mine Site. Assisted with design and implementation of a 350-ft long horizontal bore to intercept a collapsed mine portal and to maintain hydraulic control of mine discharges. Assisted with design, operation and maintenance of a large in-situ bio-remediation system which treats this water.

The project required multiple diversions of two large Montana rivers, demolition and removal of an historic hydro-electric dam and power plant, and removal/relocation of 2.3 million tons of contaminated sediment from the Clark Fork River and Blackfoot River flood plains.
