Overseeing daily operations, I collaborated with the Chief on departmental polic while managing a $3.6M bi-annual budget. I also managed the purchase of equipment and supplies and secured and administered contracts. Serving as the Acting Captain for the Department during absence of Line Operations and Support Captains for a population of 60,000 residents, I supervised initial stages of hiring process, including oral examinations and background investigations for police force consisting of 72 sworn officers and 46 civilian personnel. In this role, I administered the budget for Professional Standards Bureau, Training Bureau, Jail, Technical Services and Communications, and Computer Services, in addition to coordinating Internal Affairs Investigations.
