I believe people work better when they work together. I believe that people work better together when they are being generous, inclusive and empathetic. I believe in collaboration and transparency. As the Director of Network Engagement and Collaboration for the Union for Reform Judaism, I help more than 10,000 lay and professional leaders of our Movement connect and collaborate in our Yammer enterprise networks. I help them use the technology, and I help them embrace the skills and behaviors that will help them make the most of the technology they are being asked to use.To do this, I have deployed a set of Office 365 tools that provide our users with functionality that helps them create, share, edit and publish information online seamlessly and effectively. I harness platform usage analytic data to help illustrate the effectiveness of our work and guide future projects. Conversation and resources are thoroughly curated so they are to find, and easy to incorporate into current and future projects.I have also introduced Working Out Loud circles to our organization and Movement. We help people understand the value of collaboration and transparency in pursuit of valuable personal or professional goals. Together, we learn new technologies, new habits and new skills. Not only are people realizing value personal and professional rewards from Working Out Loud, but we are also seeing our Yammer network engagement and activity increase significantly.
